How partners are chosen
Read the partnership criteria
Powerful Children Colombia identifies Colombian-led partner organizations based on the following criteria:
- The organization's work enables children to embrace their individual power and potential.
- The organization's work serves children ages 5 to 17 in under-resourced parts of Colombia through athletic, cultural or educational programs.
- The organization is registered as an NGO with the Colombian government.
- The organization has a bank account registered under the nonprofit's name.
- The organization has documentation of programs and has demonstrated impact.
Powerful Children Colombia works closely with partner organizations to design a scope of work for the potential funding opportunity, which includes project objectives, beneficiary description, activities, roadmap, success metrics, and budget. Programs are expected to deliver regular technical and financial reports to update on progress.
